Step 5: Where can I turn for resources and support?

Today, more than ever, many great resources and programs exist to support those with ASD and their families. You’re not alone on your journey. Learn more about the resources available to you through your Cisco benefits. And don’t forget to build your own support network of family members, friends, teachers and doctors.   

Here are your sources for information and support:

  1. The Autism Center on Live and Work Well.
    Visit liveandworkwell.com and log in with access code: Cisco. Select Mind and Body from the drop-down menu. Click on Mental Health Autism.

  2. Employee Assistance Program (EAP). 
    Also available through Live and Work Well, EAP provides 24/7 confidential support for emotional health and other needs. Visit liveandworkwell.com. Or, call 1-800-718-8435.   
     
  3. UnitedHealthcare Customer Care. 
    Call 1-800-875-8307 for questions about your benefits and coverage or to speak to a nurse 24/7.

  4. Rethink. 
    An online platform and coaching resource for Cisco employees who are caring for children with developmental disabilities. Visit rethinkbenefits.com/cisco.

  5. Expert medical opinion, provided by Advance Medical.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Get help with the small questions, the big problems and everything in-between. Your Live and Work Well EAP offers confidential support for help:  

  • Managing stress.
  • Improving relationships at home or work.
  • Addressing legal and financial concerns.
  • Finding child development, childcare or elder care resources.
  • Getting past emotional issues or grief.
  • Addressing depression, anxiety or substance use issues.
